The Air We Share

Hi! I’m Quinn, a DC high school student with a passion for climate research and environmental justice. Concerned about the data being deleted from government websites, I decided to focus my Sierra Club Capstone project on restoring and republishing data taken down by the Trump administration that could illustrate environmental inequity in my community. Since then, I have received grant money through the Vernot-Jonas Fellowship to purchase a monitor and collect my own data. Since then, I have walked over 60 miles in DC. I am working to empower DC residents with knowledge about the air that surrounds them.
